Hot gossip: Ashley Harkleroad gives birth to baby boy

23 year old Ashley Harkleroad and 38 year old Chuck Adams had the birth of their baby boy named Charlie on Monday March 30, 2009. Chuck Adams said the birth of their baby boy was 5 days ago on Saturday April 4, 2009 in an interview on Radio Tennis.com of a live world-wide web cast of the maxIT pro/am Tennis Event from the historic La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club.
Ashley's next goal will be getting back out on the courts. She has said she will return and plans were to be back on the tournament courts sometime in June of this year with plans on playing the US Open.

Hot gossip: Verdasco now dating Wozniacki?

After dating Serbian WTA star Ana Ivanovic in late 2008, the latest rumour states that Spanish ATP player Fernando Verdasco could be dating Danish WTA player Caroline Wozniacki.
Verdasco was spotted watching Caroline's match yesterday in Indian Wells, and Eurosport commentators referred to them as "an item".
Is Verdasco a WTA lady-killer? Besides Wozniacki and Ivanovic, Verdasco had previously dated WTA players Ashley Harkleroad and Gisela Dulko

EDIT: This rumour has been proved to be false, as Verdasco is reported to be dating with actress Camilla Belle, who was supporting him at Indian Wells

I know this is not fresh news for most of you, but I didn't find the time to post, so better late than never.
The couple had been dating since 2008 US Open, but they broke up earlier this month, probably during the tournament in Brisbane where both were playing.

During the combined ATP-WTA event held in Beijing in September, some photos of ATP player Fernando Verdasco talking to WTA star Ana Ivanovic, as well as the presence of Verdasco in Ivanovic's training sessions and matches next to Ana's mother, led to speculations about a possible relationship between them and some tennis blogs made echo of this, as you can read in Women's Tennis blog
We though that it was just some rumours, but today Verdasco was in Doha watching the match between Ivanovic and Jankovic in Ana's box, which means that their relationship is really close... new tennis couple?

Hot gossip: Cibulkova-Melzer, new tennis couple!!

According to Austrian website laola1.at, Slovakian WTA star Dominika Cibulkova is the new girlfriend of Austrian ATP player Jurgen Melzer. Cibulkova and Melzer, who played together the mixed doubles event at the US Open, are reported to be more than tennis partners. As it was reported here, Cibulkova was related this summer to ATP player Gael Monfils, while Melzer is a real lady-killer on the Tour, as he has previously dated Anastasia Myskina and Nicole Vaidisova.

Hot gossip: Ashley Harkleroad is pregnant!

Playboy's August cover girl, tennis player Ashley Harkleroad, pulled out of the US Open because she was pregnant, her agent told. "It is true - she is pregnant," said agent Sam Duvall, adding that "she does plan to come back to the tour."
Harkleroad, 23, and her fiancé, former tennis pro Charles Adams, live in Los Angeles. Ranked 91st in the world among women tennis players.

A few weeks ago we reported about the relationship between WTA star Tatiana Golovin and soccer player Samir Nasri
But last week, Tati attended Roland Garros men's final with basketball player Joakim Noah, son of former tennis star Yannick Noah, and they were caught in very affective attitude by Closer magazine.

It could seem that she had splitted up with Nasri, but a few days ago she was watched along with other football player wives cheering the French squad in the European Championships.

Following the steps of Spanish Nuria Llagostera, who posed nude for Spanish men's magazine Interviu (see post), and American Ashley Harkleroad, who will appear in August edition of Playboy (see post), Ana Ivanovic will be featured on cover of men's magazine FHM.
Here is the note and a preview on her website:
"Ana will appear on the cover of the August issue of FHM. The 20-year-old was captured earlier this year near Palm Springs by renowned photographer Don Flood.
The feature is expected to run to at least eight pages and promises to include some of Ana's best ever imagery. It goes on sale in Britain on 1 July, and other editions around the world are due to be published around the same time."

Hot gossip: Harkleroad to appear in Playboy

American player Ashley Harkleroad, one of the most beautiful players on WTA Tour, will appear on the August edition of men's magazine Playboy. Harkleroad, who was highlighted in WTA hotties a few months ago (read article), will be the first tennis player to appear in the magazine.
“I was just laying there for three weeks, and, you know, an offer came to me,” Harkleroad said. “I thought, well, I’m not really doing anything right now so I thought about it and it was something that I did. I’m proud of my body. I was representing a female athlete’s body.”
“It was hard work, but, you know, it was just a completely different experience. It was fun. I think it comes out July 13th. It’s the August edition. So you’ll see for yourself."

Russian tennis pioneer Anastasia Myskina, who has been out of action on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour for nearly a year now, became a first-time mother on Monday, April 28, 2008.
After missing most of last season with a left foot injury, Myskina announced she was pregnant, and on Monday afternoon in Moscow she gave birth to a son, Zhenya. She has not made any announcements on whether or not she will return to the Tour.

Hot gossip: Tatiana Golovin and soccer star Samir Nasri in love

According to French magazine Gala, WTA star Tatiana Golovin and Olimpique Marseille midfielder Samir Nasri are living "a beautiful love story". 19 yo Golovin reached her highest ranking in February at #12, while 20 yo Nasri, who is often compared to Zinedine Zidane, was named Best Young Player of the French league on 2007 and has already been selected for French National team.

ATP star Gael Monfils attended last weekend Fed Cup playoff tie between Slovak Republic and Uzbekistan which took place in Bratislava. According to Slovakian press, Monfils was supporting girlfriend Dominika Cibulkova. This is not the first relation with a WTA player for Monfils, who was previously linked to French talent Alize Cornet.

Hot gossip: Vaidisova and Stepanek not to marry (yet)

ESPN comentators asked Nicole Vaidisova today about the rumours of a possible wedding with Radek Stepanek, as some tabloids published that thay had already asked for a marriage license. Vaidisova denied it and said there was "no wedding, no engagement, no nothing" as she showed her hands to the comentators.
