Dancing with the Stars 2010 Results: Kate Gosselin Finally Voted Off

Dancing with the Stars season 10 results last night finally sent Kate Gosselin back home as she was voted off Tuesday night. Reality TV mom-of-eight Kate was constantly criticized for her stiff dance movements but despite scoring low every week, she was saved by public votes.

But this week those votes were not in her favour either after she scored low 15 out of 30 for her foxtrot described as "catatonic" by judge Bruno Tolini.

After being voted off, Kate got emotional and had tears in her eyes. Kate apologized for being a "cry baby" and said, "Thank you for believing in me, probably more than I believed in myself," she said to the voters.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said to Gosselin, "You are one tough cookie and you are no quitter." The other celebrity in bottom two this week was Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.

Kate Gosselin has a huge fan following after becoming a household name with TLC cable reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" starring with her 8 kids and ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

On DWTS 2010, Kate was often criticized for being a drama queen and often had fights with her partner Tony Dovolani. But the ABC show definitely owes its huge ratings to a large extent to Kate.

Dancing with the Stars season 10, last night episode was movies theme night. The dance performances were to be inspired by movies.

So how did the contestants fare! Lets begin with the contestant about whom you definitely want to know- Kate Gosselin! This week her score went even lower, 15. He stiff foxtrot did not impress the judges even though she tried to impress with more smiling this week. Judge Bruno Tonioli went to the extent of comparing her with a "coat hanger" saying that her partner Tony Dovolani will be better off dancing with a "coat hanger" while Carrie Ann Inaba compared her dancing with the teacher's voice on Charlie Brown. Len called her dance "a stroll".

So, we all know and have known for some time that Kate Gosselin is not at all good in dancing but does that mean that she will be eliminated on Dancing with the Stars results tonight? I am not sure knowing what a huge fan following she has.

Next in scoring low after Kate were Chad Ochocinco and Niecy Nash, both scoring 18.The highest scorer this week was Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls with her magnificent tango. She scored 29 with Derek Hough. Olympic figure scater Evan Lysacek got 27 while Jake Pavelka scored 23 performing Tom Cruise's "Risky Business".

Erin Andrews scored 22 and Pamela Anderson got 21. So who goes tonight on DWTS 2010 results tonight?

Dancing With The Stars 2010 Results Episode: Kate Gosselin Still Safe, Aiden Turner Goes

Dancing with the Stars season 10, results show last night sent off daily soap star Aiden Turner after he could not score high with the judges as well as the voting viewers, day before with his rumba performance.

The British actor said that he was nervous before the show began this season but said that he was beginning to ease.

"Each week I came out here and gave it my all and got less nervous," Aiden said. "Last night, I had the best time dancing with Edyta (his dance partner)."

So another week saw reality TV star Kate Gosselin surviving on DWTS 2010 even though she was the lowest scorer Monday night. Clearly, Kate has a huge fan following.

Alos safe were Pamela Anderson with her partner Damian Whitewood as well as Nicole Scherzinger with partner Derek Hough.

The highest scorers on Dancing with the Stars 2010 have been Olympic gold medalist ice skater Evan Lysacek and his partner Anna Trebunskaya. They scored 52 Monday night.

DWTS Tuesday night show also saw singing performances by Sade including hit song "The Sweetest Taboo" as well as a dance routine to the music of Nuttin But Strings.

Dancing With The Stars 2010, April 12 Recap : Kate Gosselin Gets Lowest Scores Of The Night

Dancing with the Stars 2010 episode last night was different vis-a-vis the scoring system. The contestants were to get two scores- one for technique and the other for performance.

The performances began with ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and her partner. Erin was suffering from a bad back but she did perform her tango. Bruno was not very happy with the performance saying she lost the magic about halfway through. I won't blame her with her back situation. Scores: 18 for technique, and 21 for performance.

Then came, the inevitable Kate Gosselin whining video... once again. It would be nice to see her concentrate on her dance practice instead of complaining about everything!

Olympic figure skater Evan Lysachek and his partner, Anna did create some magic next with their tango. Their scores reflected it too: 26 out of 30 for technique, and 26 for performance. Remember they were the highest scorers of last week. Bruno referred to Evan's dancing as "A hint of catlike arrogance".

Niecy Nash and Louis performed next their rhumba. Louis referred to it as "very spiritual." Both looked nice. It was nice enough performance but judges were not so impressed. Sadly none of the three judges liked it. Niecy was in tears. Scores: 18 for technique, and 18 for performance.

I guess spiritual does not work on DWTS 2010.

Next was the turn of Aiden Turner and partner Edyta. What an outfit Edyta! I guess you are not very shy. As far as dancing goes Aiden is still no better. Scorecard reads 15 for technique, and 18 for performance.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek were coming up next but wait...here comes more of Kate Gosselin DWTS special. Why, God why, she has to keep talking like that and poor Tony has to keep listening to her!

Coming to next performance, Nicole did impress, so did her partner Derek. Audience was quite taken by the performance but the judges..well that's a different story. They have to be critical, I feel. Scores: 25 for technique, and 25 for performance. That is good, so why the criticism?

Then came the video which I personally dislike after Kate Gosselin. Its Jake Pavelka and partner Chelsie. About their performance, here is what Bruno had to say, "des tango was very, very, very, very messy." Carrie Ann said that they were "not connected emotionally or physically."

Scores: 19 for technique, and 19 for performance. Not very good!

What Kate Gosselin has to say next! This: "Everyday I wake up and look at the news to see what hell I am going to go through."

Is there any end to her whining?

Now she was saying that others had some advantage or the other over her like Erin was a cheerleader and her vote plea, "If I get voted off, I'll feel like I quit."

Her performance was OK though by her standards! Len appreciated Tony, Carrie Ann was proud of Kate while Bruno said that Kate was dancing " the tiniest drop."

Scores: 14 for technique, 18 for performance. After all the nice words, the scores did tell the truth. The lowest of the night.

Next performance, Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl did improve from last week doing the rhumba. Good work! Judges too were very appreciative. And guess what! Chad gave Cheryl a diamond ring. Now that's some way of saying thank you.

Scores: 21 for technique, and 23 for performance.

The closing performance was Pamela Anderson doing the rhumba with partner Damian. Like Carrie Ann said, "There was magic happening." The other two judges shared the sentiment.

Scores: 23 for technique, and 24 for performance.

So that's it for DWTS 2010 review of last night episode. Now America has to decide who stays and who goes on Dancing with the Stars tonight. Who do you think will go tonight on Dancing with the Stars results episode?

DWTS Champion Helio Castroneves and Has a wrecked Ball

The creators of Dancing with the Stars want to start paying more interest to their balls—disco balls, that is.As we completely exposed last year in our very hard-hitting analytical reporting, the winner disco ball trophies aren't closely high quality. Cheryl Burke and Shawn Johnson, first they were admitting to their trophies had to be repaired after they began to drop separately.

Now, season five's cha-cha champ, race-car driver Helio Castroneves, has come forward with a similar story...

"If they want something to get better on the show, it's the trophy," the 34-year-old told us previous this week at L.A. Live, where he was promoting his imminent Izod IndyCar Series Streets of Long Beach race. "I've even attached mine. The glass was coming off. I'm glad to hear other winners saying that, because I am thinking it was only me!"

Castro-eves were in the meeting for Monday night's opening of season 10. He had some words of advice for two of the more recognizable wannabe waltzers.

"Evan Lysacek is surely going to be a quality dancer because of he is capable and talent, but I think the individuality could stop him from going far," Castroneves said. "If he keeps on coming off very serious like a speed-skater or professional athlete, which might concern him harmfully. He needs to come off like he's having fun. He shouldn't be too grave."

How about one of the countries’s most hated well-known reality-television moms, Kate Gosselin?

"She seems to be anxious, because she was feeling difficulty," Castroneves said. "She needs to rest and follow her dance partner. She needs to be herself. If she's not a nice person, nothing can help. But maybe she can prove she's there because she wants to make her kids proud and wants to be an example to other moms. I think that needs to be the significance."
